The P & C meets at school on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend and we would be delighted if new parents could join us on the meeting nights.
The P & C has had a levy system in operation for some years. This levy has become an integral and essential part of the total school budget. The levy is included on the Book and Stationery List so it can be paid when you order your child's requisites for the new school year.
Parents as Partners
We welcome this through participation with the various committees and sub-committees (P & C, Parent Auxiliary, Tuckshop and Uniform Shop), as well as involvement within your child's classroom, the Support-A-Reader or Maths program etc. Research has shown that children are more successful at school when their parents are involved.
Parents who wish to assist the teachers in the classroom are most welcome. Please see your child's teacher if interested.
All volunteers who are NOT parents must have a "Working With Children" suitability card. Application forms are available at the school office. All volunteers are to sign on at the school office when helping at the school.
At the end of the year, a Volunteer's Thank-You Morning Tea is held to express our appreciation and gratitude to the numerous volunteers in our school.
