On Friday 21 March, Lawnton State School showed their support for the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence by students, parents and staff wearing orange as part of the ‘Bullying. No Way!’ initiative.

The school on the day was cloaked in a sea of orange, with hundreds of balloons tied to the front of the school fence to say that bullying was not tolerated at Lawnton State School. Students received special wrist bands on their arrival to school and took a pledge to stand together against bullying and violence as a school community. Mr Seath Holswich MP joined the school’s assembly and commended the students and school on being part of such a tremendous initiative.
