Prep at Lawnton State School provides a strong foundation to formal schooling through empowering its learners for successful futures. Through our strong partnerships with our families, local Early Years Centres, school-based Playgroup every Friday and Pre-Prep Program, we carefully design smooth transitions that provide our future Lawnton Learners with a strong start to their first year of schooling.
Our age-appropriate approach and real-world curriculum design empowers our learners to engage in the Australian Curriculum with confidence and support. It is also with great pride that our school offers its students from Prep upwards the opportunities to partake in a myriad of extra-curricular activities to instil a love for learning at our school.
