Lawnton State School was established in 1967 and proudly
services the community of Lawnton and nearby suburbs in the Moreton Bay Region.
We are an inclusive school catering for children across the Preparatory to Year
6 grades of schooling.
At Lawnton, we work in partnership with parents, the
students and our school to ensure a safe, caring, orderly, disciplined and
productive learning environment where all students can achieve their full
potential. Central to the daily life of our school are our values of Learning,
Safety and Respect promoted by our school mascot LASAR the Lion. It is through

our school the wonderful place it is for all.
